Cinnamon or linseed in diabetes

Swedish researchers conducted an experiment among patients with diabetes, according to which cinnamon can help them feel better. Volunteers were divided into right groups. One is fed with rice pulp, with pulp and the other containing a few grams cinnamon. The results show that those consumed cinnamon, sugar levels after meals were significantly less compared with other groups. Exercise conclude that cinnamon slows the absorption of food and recommend it to patients with diabetes. Here nutritionists agree to some extent, but fails to note that this phenomenon is observed in some other products - groats, flax seed, fresh green vegetables. Groats even with advantage, because no allergy, while other products similar effect was observed. Read the rest of this entry »
