Fibers are healthy for whole body

The most popular belief is that the plant fibers are useful for gut - not only as a means to combat constipation, but also as a way to prevent diabetes and heart disease. But in practice the benefit of fiber is not only that - according investigations they are useful to all parts of the body. Lack of taste made fiber plant is not particularly appealing to many, but even the minimum necessary amount of them - 20-35 grams a day is enough to translate their positive effect. Experts said the use of fiber reduces the amount of C-reactive protein in blood that is a precursor to stroke and diabetes. The use of wholesale pasta ground cereals increases the sensitivity of tissues to insulin, which allows to prevent the development of diabetes mellitus by the second type. Dietitians stress that it is the fruit and vegetables rather than food supplements are the best sources of fiber.
The following foods contain high levels of soluble fiber:
- Oatmeal,
- Nuts
- Leguminous crops (peas, beans and lentils)
